Flagstaff Piano Festival is an immersive experience bringing together young pianists, educators, celebrated artists, and music lovers in the inspiring setting of Flagstaff on the campus of Northern Arizona University. The Festival promotes equitable access to concerts and music instruction in a healthy and supportive environment that fosters meaningful community engagement. The Festival creates relevant opportunities to engage, learn, grow, teach, perform, and compete at the highest artistic and pedagogical levels.

Festival Offerings

Inspiring recitals by acclaimed pianists and young artists are presented daily in the state-of-the-art Kitt Recital Hall.

The FPF Academy welcomes young pianists, piano teachers, and auditors to an immersive week filled with lessons, masterclasses, performances, seminars, and recreational activities inspired by Flagstaff's unique history and geographical setting.

FPF Academy participants perform in the FPF Competition on Friday, June 28. Competition and Winners Recital performances are open to the public.

Piano teachers whose students attend the FPF Academy are invited to be an integral part of Flagstaff Piano Festival, by collaborating with FPF Faculty in designing Piano Immersion Day (June 27), which includes roundtable discussions and a stage program in Kitt Recital Hall.  Meant to engage the larger community, Piano Immersion Day is open and free to students, teachers, and music lovers.
